I hope that you all have had a lovely Easter holiday. Nature has woken up after winter and there are beautiful signs of Spring all around us. What can you see growing or blossoming in your garden or when you are on a walk?
I've created a Summer 1 Topic web that outlines learning opportunities. Lambs learning will be based around the topic of 'Minibeasts!'
Below the topic web is an interactive weekly plan. This plan includes links to activities. Each week I will upload a new interactive weekly plan with related activities.
I suggest that children spend approximately 1-2 hours a day engaged in these recommended learning tasks. However, I understand that all children and family circumstances are different and you may not follow this timetable exactly.
Wherever possible, activities are planned to be practical so I will make it explicit when I would like children to record their work. I appreciate that children may have siblings who also need access to home computers so I will try as much as possible to plan activities that can be worked on 'off computer' or can be enjoyed as a family.
Please click the link to hear another story from Apollo and I. This week the story is: Where's my teddy?
Best Wishes and have fun this week!
