Footwear

Suitable footwear at all times is essential.  In particular heels should be kept low.  Open toed sandals are not permitted for safety reasons.

Jewellery

Watches may be worn but standard display only please, smart watches are not permitted.  These are brought into school at children's own risk.  Girls and boys are not permitted to wear earrings due to health and safety reasons.  For this reason, we politely ask that children only have their ears pierced at the beginning of the summer holidays.  If earrings are worn to school, children will be asked to tape them for playtimes and PE lessons and parents will be contacted.

Hair and Make-Up

Boys and girl's hair must not be excessively styled for school and long hair must be tied back with subtle, sensible hair accessories for health and safety reasons.  Make-up and nail varnish must not be worn to school. Exceptions may be made for Mufti days and other special occasions, this is at the discretion of the headteacher.

Lost Property

Please ensure that all children's belongings are clearly named.  Named lost property is returned to the child.  Unnamed lost property is kept in the porch lockers and if unclaimed is then sold in the second hand uniform sale or recycled.
