Year 4

Hello everyone and welcome to Year 4. This year we'll have lots of fun and exciting learning to catch up on.

Our first week back will be all about settling into our new routines and catching up with your class friends. You may not have seen some of them for a while and it will be exciting to hear what everyone has been up to. We will be doing some getting to know you activities as we ease you back into school.

Once we have settled back to our new routines, we will start on our curriculum learning. We have looked carefully at the maths and we have included some recap lessons so you won't have any gaps in your learning. In English, we will be reading the ancient folk tale of Beowulf and writing our own exciting stories. Our main topic is the Anglo Saxons. I have included some website links if you would like to find out a little about this topic before we start in the Autumn term.

There are also some links for some revision booklet that include all the Year 3 objectives just in case you want to do a little practise over the summer.

Have a good summer everyone. I am so looking forward to seeing you all in September. Take care and stay safe.
